I bought enough Opal Heather Palette fingering weight to make a sweater or a cardigan, still deciding on which to do. I love how the swatch knit up. It looks great alone and also with a strand of white mohair held together with it.

I love Pallete yarn. It has a little bounce to it and feels nice sliding through my hands. I have a collection of blocked gauge swatches from 0 to 13 so I know what needle size to use without swatching again. It has never failed. When my finished project is washed and blocked, it's the exact size I intended. The yarn is that consistent. I'm currently working on a cardigan using silver, asphalt & small amounts of 9 other colors.

Picking colors online is always dicey, so I looked at a and two different monitors before buying yarn for Fair Isle mittens. Only two of the colors are as shown/described. Rainforest Heather is supposed to be teal, but what I got is forest green. Conch is a reddish peach with no pink tones, and Rose Hip is road construction orange. $35 was a lot of money for a discretionary purchase, and this was a huge disappointment. It's all going back, except Rose Hip. The yarn was packed so tightly in the bag that despite my best efforts, I skipped two strands. I guess Rose Hip will be compost.

I like this yarn, but don't buy it I f you're sensitive to woolier yarns. I made a sweater out of it and it's a little itchy around my neck, but it's not too bad if I wear a t-shirt underneath. Pros: Affordable price, wide range of color choices, quite warm :) Cons: My sweater did pill quite a bit after only one day of wear, but that doesn't bother me too much. Also, as I mentioned above, the yarn isn't super soft, but that's the nature of nonsuperwash wool.

I'm sad. I was so excited when I found this yarn online since there were so many color choices at an affordable price. I bought 15 different colors but when I received them I was sadly disappointed. The yarn is not soft at all and like others said the texture is worse than most acrylic yarns. I just can't use it at all since it's so scratchy and cheap feeling. I've used Stroll yarn before and that is so much better. There may not be as many color options but the softness is worth it unlike this yarn. I wouldn't recommend it unless it is for something that doesn't sit on the skin.
